Description of Maguk (Barramundie Gorge)
Just 12km of dirt road from
Kakadu Hwy turnoff.
Camping ground just prior to start of a flat 1km walk to main pool or backtrack a little and follow track to upper section with its spa pools and cascades. Frogs and fish and maybe a freshwater croc or two! Maguk is magic!!
Bush campsite 20 min walk from the actual Maguk swimming hole. Only 11km from tarred
Kakadu Hwy along a flat dirt road suitable for caravans. Closed in wet season due to flooding.
