Waterloo is located 13.36kms NorthEast of Saddleworth, 18.29kms East of Auburn, 60.58kms SouthEast of Spalding and 72.95kms West of Morgan, in the state of South Australia.

A small village nestled in a valley between picturesque hills. The blacksmith worked his trade, in his premises next to the Waterloo Hotel, right up to about 1980. The Hotel itself being a popular place for a meal and a good place to meet with friends and the locals. Unfortunately business dropped away during the 1980's and the hotel is not operating at the moment.
The country lifestyle in this small town is quite relaxed, and the town has a certain charm and plenty of character. Some residents have preferred to live here and drive all the way to Gawler, or even to Adelaide, on a daily basis for their employment!
