 Description of Glenelg
This is Adelaide's beach side resort suburb, and it was also the beachhead for the establishment of the colony of South Australia, in the early 1800's. Adelaides only Tram service begins in the City and terminates at Glenelg .
As South Australia's first mainland settlement, Glenelg holds a special place in South Australia's history.
