Description of Shoalhaven River
Land at Burrier, on the Shoalhaven river belonged to Mary Reiby - the first Lady who was given land off the government - she is the lady on the $20 note.
Used to pump water up to Bamarang Water Treatment
The boat is over 100 yrs old and is still used,it was used to bring supplies up to Burrier during floods from Nowra - approx 20km west of Nowra by road.
Ettrima Gorge is the mountain area in back of 2 of the photos that look like
cradle mountain.
