Description of Lake Nallan
Lake Nallan is on the eastern side of the Great Northern Highway and is well sign-posted. Access is easy for caravans and
motorhomes. It is a well known location so it has a downside of the occasional symbol of other peoples' thoughtlessness under the odd shrub.
However peaceful clean locations are easy to find, particularly on the east side where you are furthest from the highway.
In summer the lake's edge is very hard and you can take your van quite close to the water.
Check first if it has been raining. It's a nice stop on the way to or from the
Pilbara.

Milly Soak - WA [3.48km]
Milly Soak provides good camping facilities. Used to be a picnic retreat for the miners in the old days, going up there on foot or bicycle. Lots of bird life and animals. Historic well and small cemetery that is interesting. Plenty of grass and shade to camp. Suitable for caravans.
