Information

Wangi Falls is located approximately 66km south west of Batchelor is Wangi Falls. This waterfall is absolutely beautiful and flows into a large permanent natural pool all year round. It is Litchfield National Parks' most popular swimming spots and its clear water also makes it great for snorkeling. There is a grassed picnic area, campground, kiosk and caravan area. Please be aware, that the pool may be closed during the wet season, although the facilities around the falls remain open all year round.

Wangi Falls is very accessible from the point of view that, from the car park, its a short walk to the bottom of the falls. You then have the option of taking the 1-2 hour return walk to the top of the falls and a great view over the escarpment. Wangi Falls is a great spot for lunch and a swim at the base of the falls. The camping ground is the largest in the park and is the only camping area with showers and suitable for caravans.
