The Hunt Oil Road – Tjirrkarli Road intersection is situated approximately 73 kilometres north-west of the Great Central Road. It is some 10 kilometres past the hand pump on the Hunt oil Road. Situated on the back of a slight hill, the track spears off in a dead straight line (50 degrees) from the Hunt Oil Road.
