True remote Simpson Desert Travel - Simpson Geo Expedition ‘06

Having been bitten by the Simpson Desert bug many years previous, the time had now come to look for a new challenge and to test my skills in true remote outback travel.

Thanks for a great read and more wonderful photos, Iis a small world as Im about 100% certain that your mate Ken is the same Ken that we spent some time with at Batton Hill in 2007, including one very memorable day when we together attempted (unsuccessfully as it turned out) to forge a new track to Mt Barrington - with Lindsay's permission of course. Please give him a big hello from us when you next see him. He is a wonderful travelling companion.
