Comment: Using the <span class="highlight">4psi</span> Tyre Inflation Rule

very good explanation on the 4psi rule. I followed the original post and as with everything there are no hard and fast rules.
This gives a great base for most applications. Using this along with what I believe is one of your greatest friends and that is Look and Feel.

I have seen many a trailer and prime mover have terminal results from wheel problems resulting in fire and blown tyres. Many starting in the wheel bearings. I was always taught to feel the temp of the wheel hub, then the tyre with my hand and finally with duals check to see if one of the tyres sounded different to the others. (bump test)
