Ome load upgrade 400kg-600kg

Yeh thanks for that mate, it's a 78 series but same deal, it's strange because I keep hearing the same thing that I can but some of the threads are flush with the nuts already or 3mm extra so I don't know how a 8-10 mm leaf will fit in there unless the extra leaf they add is thinner?? Do you know ?
I've had so many problems with a arb shop in syd sending the wrong parts and forgetting parts they have already sent the wrong shackles once (sent square ones) who knows maybe they sent the wrong length oval ones to start with....? Hard to find people that just know there stuff real well these days.

Sorry to hear you've had the odd drama - It was all good when I did mine. The guy at ARB knew all about it, they had the extra leaf in stock at Regency park. The 79 and 78's have the same leaf springs. 76 were shorter.

The centre bolt is the single 10mm one that holds the spring pack together. They are the ones that are usually long enough for the extra leaf. If your U-bolts aren't long enough, you'll need new ones - about $16 each last time I bought a set. I was pretty lucky to have a spring manufacturer nearby so could pop in and get them.

Hey mate, it's a new kit I am heading to Simpson dessert and surrounds and should of done better calculations to start with with the weight. The thread on some are already flush or 3mm left so maybe they sent me the wrong u bolts to start with... It wouldn't be the first time or second for that matter they have done that to me.
