9500 lbs Winch

Hi Frosty55, since you have purchased an ARB bar, assumably from ARB, did you happen to talk to the dealer as what they recommend, and then work from there. There are many winches available on the market, so good some not so good. Of course they will try and sell their product, but their advice should give you an indication on what to look for. I have a ARB bar on a hilux and went for a Magnum winch which is an off shoot from the Warn winch. I have used mine a couple of time to help other people out of trouble, including a small bobcat.

Really expensive or really cheap because most of the chinese ones are on par no matter what you pay for them. I got 10 years out of an Adli winch and now look like getting at least the same out of the Kings magnum winch.
Being an ARB bar you'll have to rotate the gearbox on any winch you buy. Kings has a video on how to do that. I have just finished installing mine into the new ute and rotating the gearbox back into the original position without issue. It was on the Ranger for 5 odd years - seals etc all serviceable, so now its in the new BT50.

Hi Frosty, just to add another to your options list, I went for a Runva winch. It has a great reputations and is one of the few which do not void your warranty after water crossings. I've only used it a couple of times in four years, but when I dismantled it for service it was like brand new.
