Hi, Wondering if the credit is good with the older Inmarsat pro. Have not used mine for several years, since 2019 there has not been any software updates and was wanting to get another remote trip out of it. Thanks in advance.

If it’s the blue one like I have, they stopped the software updates a few years ago when they introduced the newer model.

Like you I have not had pre paid credit for a few years and contacted the mob in Brisbane where I get credit from.

Unlike Telstra and other service providers, your SIM will not go out and even with zero credit, you can still make 000 calls in the event of an emergency.

I still keep mine charged up and recently went out, turned it on, and did the test your phone. Still connected and got the message that I had zero credit left, so still working fine.

I am wanting to buy a 50 unit voucher for our phone. The company I was buying from have now closed. The company that I have been referred to will not sell me 50units as I am not an existing customer and want me to buy a minimum of 100 units. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might be able to get 50 units please?

Be careful with your SIM card.

I originally used to get my credit through Inmarsat, but then swapped over to another company in Brisbane, as they were offering cheaper phone credit.

Even though it was still all through Inmarsat, they had to give me a new SIM as the new credit would not be recognised with the old SIM.

Here is a link to their site, and still selling the 50 unit vouchers.
