G'day everyone.
Got a quick trip comming up into NSW soon.
Anyone know of a decent pub camping area about half way between noosa and mudgee that does a good feed and not too much trouble with their youths?
Cheers.

Not sure if they do a meal or permit camping but try Graman or Ashford pubs, very quiet places , about midway and possibly on the most direct route.
Next thought would be either Pub in Deepwater on the busy New England Highway.

Mark - another in your area is the Spring Ridge Sports ground

Hotel just up the road - showers - toilets -

they do ask for a donation

I thought of Spring Ridge and Premer, but only 2 hours from Mudgee with another 8 or 9 hours further to Noosa.
I don't know of any places on the Newell Highway I'd recommend for camping near a pub.

I second the recommendation for the pub at the Longhorn Bar and Grill in Deepwater. Camped there just before Covid in 2019.

Mark, there is Mirool a bit north of Ardlethan on the Newell, Pub with donation camping and some powered sites available. Toilets, showers and a dump point now apparently.

Mirool is way past Mudgee, not half way it Mudgee. He is looking for something just south of the Qld border (or perhaps just to the north of it.)

Peter, I agree, but my reply was in relation to the comment "I don't know of any places on the Newell Highway I'd recommend for camping near a pub".

Thanks for the input everyone but circumstances have changed.
Looks like a boring push through to Dubbo, couple of nights in a motel while taking care of business around Mudgee then a one day haul back home.
