Here in the Goldfields We had a rather (welcombe) wet start to Autumn and Winter but now in this the coldest month it is positivly spring type weather. this in itself isnt unusual for a few days but we have had about a fortnight at least of sunny days in the high teens and low 20s and mild nights (anything above 5 deg) Sure sighns are I saw a sleepy lizard out enjoying the sun and looking for a mate and even surer i have been wearing shorts to work Is it still winter where you are?
(no smart alec replies from those that live up north please - you will just make me jelous)

Warm everywhere Davoe. Sydney had a week of over 20's, Records being broken in Melb. Wilson's Prom average min for July so far is 10.1c, double figures for australia's most southerly point in the middle of winter....hows zat!

Spot on Davoe, saw a sure sign of Spring this afternoon - a Double Decker Magpie.

Geoff.
Geoff,

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

It is still busting to get past 15 tops here in Peterborough but we are 600 metres above sea level. Right now it is 8 degrees. Some trees are showing new buds but not expecting blossoms till the end of August. A good time toi stay in the shed and work on the truck lol

I was stoked thinking I'd never have the pleasure of scraping the ice off my windscreen here... but looks like theres still a chance, which is a bugger considering I cant afford that HF whilst my heating bills are 10 times what I am used to. I wonder if my employer would notice if I hibernated for the rest of the winter....
