I once had pre schooler beat the side of my 80 series as hard as he could. He was a big kid for his age, so I got out of the vehicle and told him to stop. His mum came up and abused me for "adopting a tone like that to my son "!
She shut up when I told her she was liable for any damage her kid caused to my vehicle.
She was quite happy to have rights. Not so happy to find out that she had responsibilities !!!

I was at a garage sale and the tenents pointed this guy snooping around my car across the road. It was more than an glance, so i ran over. he was on a bicycle and had a 4/5 yo child with him. He said to me that he thought that the car was for sale and i said that it wasn't as there isn't a sign on it. I also said to him that snooping around peoples cars may look suspicous. He left with the child.
About 5 minutes later he came back alone and the tenents at the garage sale pointed him out again, then he threw a handful of rocks through the drivers window i ran after him but he was on a bike so i and a few other took off after him in cars.
He had left the child alone on an oval to comit this act, after he met up with the child. He had some trouble getting away as the child 's bike chain had come off. so they dumped the bikes and their cloths, they are now in my possesion (the police asked me to). We couldn't find this moron and I'm sorry that the small boy has suffered the loss his bike due to this morons actions, I intend to unite boy and bike and hopfully i get to meet dad :)

I was parked in angle parking recently when an inconsiderate driver opened his door onto my Hilux. I was sitting in the ute and the offending driver saw me looking at him, he just started laughing and went off to the shops.
I had the last word though, upon reversing to leave, I wound down the passenger window (I love electric windows), and hocked a huge loogy through his open drivers window. A nice suprise for him upon his return.

I wouldn't worry about the boys bike, it was probably stolen anyway. I guess his father will steal another from the local library from some other poor kid trying to do his homework or the like... Michael
