Now, it's not "stolen" spotties again :-)
There's a new recovery kit on eBay at the moment - snatch strap, winch strap, etc. Originally advertised with 2 x 3.2t bow
shackles - and the photo of the
shackles was two piddly unrated hardware D-
shackles. Contacted the seller to clarify, and they've changed their listing to describe them as D-
shackles, but have removed the incriminating photo showing the unrated
shackles. Left the other photos showing the straps etc.
Hopefully the poor sod who buys it realises that the
shackles they get aren't suitable for recovery use, and doesn't wear one of them in the face during a snatch...

Looked at a solar panel a couple of weeks back.
Opening price was $700 quoting retail price of $900. Phoned solar
shop and they quoted retail price of $699. E-mailed old mate to advise his advertisment error.
His response was that retail price quoted in the add related to more expensive brands that retail up to $900. It is up to the buyer to
check the price.
For every 100 honest people there is a crook.

I dunno... it seems legit to me.
Just look at the watches on there. Advertised rrps of $4000 on a watch that gets passed in at $40. It must be that people just dont need watches anymore.

Surely you can't be saying that things on Ebay aren't exactly what they claim to be sometimes? Goodness me, what is the world coming to!
You can't even trust an anonymous person to sell you something sight unseen any more, dear oh dear...
I blame the government!
Cheers
