Sorry Willie - here's the link:

Hey - I didn't realise that you were back! How was the trip? We'll be going down to Omaroo pretty soon - it's just that it's very cold at the moment (which isn't a problem if you're travelling and camping - it's just a pain to work in) so we're looking at doing a big weekend near the October long w/e. You in?

I still owe you that bottle I promised too!

Cheers
Chris

No probs! I'll wait for SWMBO to get home and ask her what the itinerary is for the next few months and let you know. We'll be going down lots - so we should be able to cross paths at some stage!

So this blue mental thingie mixes fuel better by telepathy? Or does it go after the fuel is injected in each cylinder?

can these things actually work? i mean the theory is there....

I have heard by fitting a snorkel you get slightly better economy..

How would something like this 'not' work?

Could someone exlpain to me the physics of this device?

Omaroo,
In a weak moment i bought one of these or the like 6 to 8 years ago. No noticeable improvement in anything. A "fool and his money are easily parted" as i was. Still in there doing what, i don't know. LOL.
Cheers,
Bros.

How could anyone believe that a restriction like that could be anything but detrimental to fuel economy??? It is nothing like a "supercharge concept" (whatever that means!!!) as it provides no extra energy as a supercharger does or even a turbocharger does for that matter by using the energy of exhaust gases to boost the inlet flow. This "device" simply sits in the inlet and provides restriction to the flow. But hey it hads a rubber ring for adjustment - that's real high tech stuff!!
Oh by the way I have a great cure for baldness --- it comes in liquid form and it stimulates the hair follicles to produce fresh enzymes so reticulating the lost particles and rejuvenating the positive functions of the scalp reiteration functions. Many people report great results after using it!!

And we were under the impression that this unit was the answer to the fuel crisis. Oh well... there you go.
