Last weekend I celebrated my 40th birthday with a delayed party at my place [b/d was in July, but July is a crapola month to try an organise a big shindig] and I was very lucky to receive many fabulous gifts and sentiments from friends and family including many EO friends. The most unusual gift I received was a GOAT from the Bonz family. Actually the Goat doesn't live with me, it has been donated on my behalf to a poor rural Afghanstan family as part of TEAR Australia's gifts from "Arguably the World's Most Useful Gift Catalogue", I am thinking that I shall name it to make it more personal, not sure if I'll receive progress reports on my goat as you would when you sponser a child.

I'm thinking of getting my brother a toilet for his next birthday - only $70 and a real bargain! [I won't want progress reports on that !]

cheers Lyn - proud goat owner :)

It is an ancient art MN1, one of which is spoken in huched tones throughout the world. It is akin the Art of Eckythump but somehow more subdued, if that is possible, it is something that sweeps the path like the trade winds yet is gentle enough to caress the earths strata with its thought. I call of FOS, it is to which I ascribe.

The goat was a good suggestion actually, looked up sites doing the same sorts of things. Have a friend who is coming up 60 in a few weeks who, like me has been involved with farmer training. Will give him a give "training farmers" package which will keep him chuffed for ages.

Love the pics Andrew!

not sure I'd want to fund a trip to Afghanistan... :) apparently Afgan families put tassles on their goats because they are loved so much, so I will imagine a tassle on the kid.
