how much oil

I have a GU td 4.2 just used the CEM oil flush on it, bugger all crap came out
So far so good... the manual I have tells me it holds 9.5 litres of oil including filters

My question is I have re filled with oil, just under 10 litres but the dip stick
Only just shows oil….just how much oil do they hold

I can be to sure but….the last service I’m sure I put in some where around 13 litres
Any ideas…it’s a Dec 2003 Build

Yeah, mine seems to take about 11 litres all up. Just enought to make you have to buy 3 bottles!!

i have TD42 GQ it holds about 10.3 litres of oil thats after changing both filters unless they changed the sump capacity from GQ toGU

Had the manual out for something else and just had a look. It quotes 10.5 litre with oil filters.

Mine's an 03 and used to own a 2000 and 10.5 litres would be correct. Given the size of the donk a bit over would not matter. You would probably find the same result for the GQ's as well for this motor.
