Just had the Explorist XL upgrade installed into the
GPS. It is like a new
GPS. Quicker downloads of maps and pages seem to appear quicker. The moving map is also smoother as it follow the path that you are taking.
There are new pages that can give a lot more info.
I had a problem with the unit that it lost signal, even on a open road. This is now fixed.
There is a new card available from next week that will have new roads (M7 in
Sydney plus others) on it as
well as giving a turn by turn goto function.
I took the
GPS over to
GPS OZ and Brian did the download for me, so I don't know the site to do the upgrade.
