Hi there, I am trying to get waypoint data from a Navman 5500 Chartplotter, used for water craft mostly, and reading the handbook they have a Map Card and a User Card. The User Card is able to save the waypoint and track and route data, but how do I get the data off the User card and into Ozi or similar? The cards look proprietary, they arent CF or SD of MMC ar anything vaguely familiar?

There are no external connections for PC or PDA. No bluetooth or other comms, only this card system. Any Ideas out there in Cleverland?

Thanx in advance GWBonz

Bonzaboy, it looks like you read each waypoint out individually. That will be fun. Have Googled it?

Have been to Gippsland this week, so too far to go for a sauna for the weekend despite good friends to catch up with. Might be too low a humidity by then to qualify for sauna too mate.

Looked no information much on transferring data by the way. You may find it though, just spend the hours.

There is a card reader available for their proprietary CMAP card.
