extended <span class="highlight">shackles</span>

Had new suspension put under my 04 Hilux. TJM, I asked for comfort ride. (Had firmer suspension under last Hilux, too firm, poor articulation, good handling on bitumen bends tho.) Very happy with ride in newer Hilux, better articulation, but didn't get much lift.
Would longer shackles be ok to provide a small lift?
Can wind front up more to match as have fitted free wheel hubs, so CV joints not running all the time. Have kept original tortion bars so far. Don't want to make suspension too hard tho.
Need it a little higher as 31" Pro Comp muddies rub on hard turning.
Advice please.
