I am trying to source a Centre diff lock switch for my 98 80 series 4.5L. Apparently there are 2 styles, the 'old' dash & the 'new' dash.
Does anyone know the changeover year for these?
I am trying wreckers as I think the $150 for the switch from Yota is highway robbery.
I've had no success with WA wreckers yet, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The dash in the 80 series changed in 1995.
$150 for the switch is ridiculous, I'm sure I only paid $20 or so for
mine a couple of years ago from Toyota.
You may want to
check on LCOOL Yahoo Groups website, you do need to become a member though.

any switch out of a 95 or later cruiser or out of a rav4 will fit.try the wreckers, jap psares at landsdale sell them for $44 preloved
