quest 1 - did everyone lose transmission of the hatton/mayweather fight on sunday?
quest 2 - if so (and paying $50 for the priveledge) has anybody been offered a $10 refund for losing a very important section of the fight.
to me, losing 2/3 rounds spoilt the fight.

rang foxtel, their answer was, "you could have watched the replays"
my reply " i didn't pay $50 to watch the replays"

should i persist for the full refund?

PS don't reply to argue the merits of boxing, its a cust service question.

Although very annoying, Idon't think you will get any refund as it would be like any other break in transmission on a free to air channel. The break would have originated from the overseas transmission of which foxtel have no control.Only my opinion.
p.s. Ithink foxtel charges too much anyway especially as you can go down to the pub and see it live.

au contraire.
the event cost a one-off $50 to watch and was certainly not 'free'.
the break was not from the overseas transmission, all foxtel satellite channels were down.
pubs & clubs were being charged at least $800 to show this fight,
and were charging (quite rightly i think) for entrance.

Consumer law is clear on this. If you don't get what you were promised you are entitled to refund. Contact your local Office of Fair Trading or ACCC.
