New sand-proof camping tarp.....anyone got one?

one of these was my wife's addition to our camping equipment... It does seem to work, but like shade cloth can be slippery when in your Irish workboots.

I have used for some time now shade cloth, works a treat in sand and is a fraction of the cost of that new type tarp.

There a few distributors of annex matting these days. Some are made from material like shade cloth and I am not sure whether they are any better in the wet.

There are a couple of similar styles distributed by Coast to Coast and Camec. They are similar in price to the one Roachie presented the link for. I have a Camec one I find excellent. They come in a better range of sizes. They both have hemmed ends with 3 eylets in each end. The Coast to Coast models come supplied with 6 nice little pegs with mushroom heads and a puller to extract them after use.

There is also a rubbery one that comes on a roll and you have the required length cut for you. They cost about the same as the ones I like but are much more difficult to handle and are heavier.

Sure that's not some type of shadecloth, sand just falls straight thru that too.
Our local camping shop in Wonthaggi, has a new product there, that is basically double layered shadecloth, with edging, and has eye-lets already in strategic places.
Comes in a range if sizes too

Now It's too early in the morning to think clearly, and I have to go to work in 5 min, ( rats )

So be good, and if you can't be good be carefull
