What tyres were on Mahindra when you traded it??
If they were better than what's on Grenade you should have swapped them over ;)

Where is the EO Stickers and wheel cover?? hehe

'but apart from getting a new cd player (cos its a dbl din) where on earth do you put it.....might be a dash job....?????'

Depends on your UHF

alot of Patrol owners get a single din CD player and do it that way

Some mount on the side of the transmission tunnel on passengers side

I have the small Uniden one so before I went the single DIN I had it mounted near the ciggie lighter

Cheers Stefan

we thought of on the side too....have had it there before on one of the many 4b's we've owned. the uhf is pretty slim line and would fit near the ciggy lighter - in front of gear stick....

just realised today that my knee fights witht he electric brake control.....got a rub patch from just a hlaf hour drive!

Yep thats where I had it facing up to me, worked great but needed a new CD player anyway so went with the single DIN with MP3 player input

Hope you enjoy it.

From memory the fuse for the hazard lights is different to the indicators and is located under the bonnet. Mine did the same thing.

Hi Laura had the same prob with my hazards and changed the fuse under the bonnet and it didn't help I am still trying to find the time to sort it out so if you find the prob let me know.

Nice Patrol,

Fairly popular colour , LOL

I have the remote head unit Uniden and fits in front of the gear sticks with the body under the drivers seat, only problem is it can be a little quiet.

I have also fitted the brake controller recently and ended up screwing it to the far r/h side of the dash cause I was a little suss about fitting it in line with my knees.

Glenn.

I put my UHF on the back of the centre console, firstly because it's a big unit and I couldn't think of anything else. We rarely have passengers and even if we do, it's not my problem if they have to look at it, plus it cannot be seen from outside the vehicle so a bit of a security bonus as well.

I took out the ashtray and plumbed the wiring down the middle of the car and out underneath the back of the console. The mic comes up through the hand brake part of the console and the ext speaker sits nicely in front of the gear leaver next to the cig lighter.

If you get a remote head UHF, you can mount the main bit up above the centre console and then mount the remote head near the glasses holder, that is if it is a ST.
