Well well well....guess what ?!? The 5th mechanic cannt find the fault. He drove it and drove it and drove it for what is coming up 3 weeks and the light has not come on.
So good ol' Nathan just had to mention another mechanic down here that he would be happy for him to deal with (this was a few weeks ago) so car may just go to him. But seeing that I know him personally I might just have to ring tonight and tell him to tell Craig that he's too busy before Christmas to look at it, Or tell him to just let it sit there for a week or so and then tell Craig that he cannt find the fault and we can get our money back.hehehehe!!
So, there you are....prob not solved...! but we knew that was going to happen.

Thursday night coming out of Brownsville heading for Mackay on comes the engine
check light. Did the right thing and placed a piece of paper over the light to stop it annoying me, goes to Dan Murphys in the morning and half way there it goes out and hasn't come back on, so who knows
Happy hunting

The engine
check light also means that there is water in the bottom of the fuel filter, i just drain that out and the light gors off. It all seems to work fine.

I wonder if its a Driver Fault lol lol,
Ok being serious now, if the mechanics cant find a Fault with the
vehicle, how can one get there money back, if you cant prove the
vehicle is faulty?.
Cheers

Laura,
Had the same problem in the Bendethra Valley. Very rough going in as the tracks had not been graded for awhile. That night it down to what happens if she doesn't fire tomorrow.
Mmmmnn interesting decision!!
Anyway I got her out and she was sold the next week.
Bought a 4.2 Turbo and the missus and I have done 12,000 kms of touring in remote regions by ourselves without a problem.
After the valley exercise I wouldn't have been game to go where we have by ourselves and we have not had any probs with the 4.2.
I know this doesn't help much, though it was the only way out for me.
Cheers
Steve
