Is there something similar for campers/caravans to check no money is owed on it?

REVS (Register of Encumbered Vehicles) seems to be for vehicles and boats only?

Thanks.

Warning.

Even if there is - it won't protect you against a van boat or vehicle that's been "re-birthed" inter state.

Sadly non of the nations law enforcement ag3encies trust each other enough to co operate with a national register of stolen property.

Such a device could put organized crime rings that prosper in re-birthing stolen vehicles vans and boats from WA in the East and bringing stolen Vans boats and vehicles from the east to WA for re birthing.

Even the insurance industry won't set up such a national register.
That would be too easy!

The fact it hasn't happened is sure proof that organised crime is in change of the trade, because they have the law enforcement and legislative community in their back pocket, to ensure it never does.

Good luck.

Insurance companys are only interested in the botom line. Solong as premiums exceed payouts plus a healthy profit. They are not interested in recovering your property.

Ozwrangler,
go onto the Revs page, underneath where the input data for the vehicle rego number details is, there is a box to tick if the vehicle is a caravan or trailer. j
Just enter the details and tick, the box, simple as that. I'm sure you'll be fine, it will tell you either way, cheers Unc.

Don't trust REVS if it's on a Viscount Caravan after approximately 2001 as there was at least 30 Caravans rebirthed and a lot sold through Queensland and west NSW the chasis numbers and complience plates were changed.
I know as one of my caravans was rebirthed.
