Hi,

I am new to this and will appreciate any and all help offered. I am looking to purchase A) a new Honda 2000 generator at the right price and B) a spare 17" steel rim for my new GU patrol. I will be leaving Maroochydore on 12th October for the Gulf with my new Bushtracker and GU patrol.

Best regards .... POB

G'day Peter,

Sorry, don't have an answer to your question but I am interested in how well your Patrol tows the Bushtracker. What Patrol (3 or 4.2L)? and what weight is your bushtracker? have you done much towing with it yet?

Hi Pete,

The Generator Place is the go and they provide a peace of mind warranty as well. Have a look at the web site or call them. I picked mine up for $1800 neat with a cover and locking cable.

I too am interested as I have a 2006 4.2 Patrol Wagon and a Kedron Top Ender, 3.5 ton. The Patrol is "alright" at towing the Kedron but am looking at a 100 series cruiser. Wondering if it will be woth it or not. Would love to hear some feedback about your setup.

Cheers,

Pete Nuske

Thanks to everybody for the help

The Bushtracker (BT) is 19' with a Tare of 2.6t. The patrol is 3L manual - that leaves me and it has been a long time since I towed a caravan from Brisbane to Cairns and back with the original toyota landcruiser short wheel base.

Best regards .... POB
