I replied to Ray's thread # 72855 re the tribute to Footy at St.George but as that thread is a few days old now, I thought I'd repeat it here in case any of you miss it, I know that Jim's family would want you all to know they appreciate the gesture.

"From thread 72855;

After seeing this thread the other day, I sent an email to Footy's family and received this reply just now.

Hi Brian & Gayleen

What a splendid remembrance for "Footy"
Jim's son Mark took "Footys Cruiser" on a long remembrance trip recently too. He said it went like a bird especially on the way home.

Thanks a million to you all for your wonderful tribute to a great bloke.

Cheers

Brian,

Well, that is just heartwarming.

I spoke to Jim quite a few times and he was a delightful chap.

Jim.

Judith and I had the pleasure of having a cuppa and snacks at Jim and Jan's home on our visits to the Gold Coast in recent times. We had a lot of things in common to natter about. I still cannot believe that he is gone forever. Vale Jim(aka Footloose)

Cheers
