Latest news in ' Firepower – The Most Spectacular Fraud In Australian History ' is that Tim Johnston, the sole director of the company is to face court tomorrow. Apparently $100,000,000 is owed to investors.

Hiclone, Fitch, Brockies Fuelsaver and so on. Whats next? And better still ' Who will get caught?'

Cheers

This site is worth a read if you are considering buying or investing in any fuel "saving" device/pill/additive/miracle product.

One farmer from Esperance WA invested $10 million YES $10M in Firepower, I bet he is spewing, I think if I had a spare $10m to invest I would be looking at BHP or Rio Tinto or Bank shares as a better investment.............I think it all gets down to Greed in the long run!!

Having come from a farming background, I think the best joke is: "How do you make a small fortune? Start with a large fortune and buy a farm." They do it tough.

Sorry if I've offended. I won't go into full detail of my opinion, But if 1 farmer has 10 million to invest, what are all the others doing wrong

Hi Steve

I think your 1st attempt was very poor taste and your 2nd just showed you are way out of touch.

40% of farmers have vanished in the last 10 years, many have walked away broke.

I hope you like eating imported produce and its contaminants of human waste and chemicals banned here years ago, along with NIL control over use and WHP (with holding periods).
As this is what Aussies will be eating more and more of from now on.

BUT it will be CHEAPO, that is until they have detroyed local producers then guess what it will be bloody EXPENSIVE and still potentialy contaminated.

MOST farmiong opperations in Aust reward farmers less than 3% return on investment and below $13 per hour for the time they put in.

So why dont you have a go at it?

I guess you have a great Gov job or work for some multi national?

So go for the idea of condeming and good luck.

please dont take offense, but you have been very willing to condem farmers, this is just the other REAL side of the coin.

regards'GN

I guess the thing that beggars belief is the transparency of this scam, the sort of thing which has been around since the 60's, the sort of thing like someone selling Sydney Harbour Bridge, yet highly successful businessmen each poured millions each into the venture.

One problem with all the fuel saving cons is that they are not stopped from advertising for suckers ,re post 74103 , Microlon , ethics fly out the window when an advertising dollar is to be made.

That's an insult to the owner's of this site Ankle.

They are entitled to accept advertising income from any registered business. They do have an exemplary record of ceasing advertising with anyone who pushes the boundaries, "Bill S" was a case in point.

A bit like the Hyclone scam. I can't believe people fall for these things!

So here we have a bunch of investors who were hoping to make a heap of money by ripping people off with a dodgy product, only to be ripped off themsleves. Oh, the irony.

It is sad to see honest people getting ripped off by someone, however you have to ask the question, if some of these investors are already wealthy why strive for even more wealth.I agree, greed seems to play a big part.
