I intend to fit my 80w
solar panel to the roof of the box on the back of my ute. I'd like to know the best way to do it (brackets, supports, spacing etc.) Suggestions/photos would be appreciated.
Thanks, Geoff

Geoff,
I bolted some P4000 unistrut to the roof of my canopy and bolted my panels to that. Two panels are on a hinged frame and are help up with gas struts. The third is in a slide out frame. I used aluminium and stainless steel bolts etc.
Regards,
Bob

I have an 80w bolted to a set of roof racks on the cab of the ute 09 landcruiser. Good thing about it is I also utalised the rear rack to fit 4 spotlights.
