Aggie
From memeory you set the thermostat,,,turn on the gas,,,,, then press the ignitor (plunger thinggy) until the flame lights then hold the button in for about 30 seconds,,, then release ,,, watch the flame for a few seconds to make sure it stays on. If it doesn't do the procedure again, It is important to hold the button for 30 seconds to make sure the gas comes through.
someone else might want to confirm this procedure.

What Boo Boo said. Also we light the stove first to get all the air out of the lines before starting the fridge. The little fridge burner can take a little while to pass all the air first.
Oh, and don't forget to turn on the gas first - I have forgotten that before and was cursing the fridge. Lighting a gas ring first will sus out that stupid mistake!
Cheers
Pete
