I have a Scangauge II fitted to my D40 Navara. Had it for two years now and find it very useful as it allows you to monitor most engine and transmission functions. Haven't been able to get the Xgauge codes for transmission oil temperature yet but hopeful of someone who is good at this geek stuff to come up with that (there is a code for the Prado though). Not much it doesn't monitor other than this except EGT.

Toyota only became OBDII compliant in 2006 when it became mandatory in Aus.
The connector is there on pre 2006 vehicles but it won't work with OBDII scanners, there is however proprietry equipment available that will work, but it may be costly.

Hi, I have a 2003 landcruiser 100 series V8 petrol, the scangauge site states that it will not work in a 2003 Landcruiser, well it does on the petrol but don't think it does in the diesel for the same year, I even have the codes for the auto transmission temp, all working. I find the scangauge very helpfull,

Hope this helps, Pete

Thanks Pete

Tried the codes but they don't work in a 200 series but worth a try.

Thanks again - I'll keep my eyes open for 200 series codes
