Airbeds that dont go flat after a couple of trips

We have a Coleman Queen size with a zip on mattress protector and we get 2 nights out of our before I have to put a bit more air in. It has been in service for about 4 years and still going strong.

About 6 years ago we purchased a king size air bed from BigW, couldn't tell you what brand it was. It was on special at the time $55 or something. From new it would only last a night if lucky, drove me mental, would find ourselves on the floor just as dawn broke. It got the better of me, so I mixed up some dish washing liquid in a spay bottle and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed the darn thing, I found that there was the smallest amount of air escaping from the tiny little clear pull out valve. So I glued the bugger in. Never used it, always used the big oneway screw out valve to pump it up & let it down.
Never looked back. :) Just needs a couple of liters of air put in it as we go to bed.
Only use when we go the outlaws, they don't have side access to their back yard to put the camper in. :(
Just check the valves with soapy water.

I have just purchased and queen size "Aerobed" from Forty Winks her in Darwin. It was expensive but looks the goods. I am going down the Daly later in the day for a few days so will try and give a report when I return !!

I have tried it out here at home and is really comfortable.

It comes with it's own rechargeable pump that is really quick to inflate.

I have also been thru the usual Big W and Coleman inlaflateables but got a bit tired if having to buy 2 at a time in case one leaked.

Air beds are like boats.

The two happiest days of ownership will be the day you buy it and the day you get rid of it.
