Public picnic area 20 km outside of Cairns camping is allowed but take your rubbish with you heavy fines apply Camping beside a river on river stones so only suitable for camper trailers and small vans no caravans as the tracks are rough and tight nice and quiet can here some traffic but not enough to be annoying
