You’ll be pleased you did.

Liz and Gary Murray and their 4 kids invite you to drop in and stay for a few days with them at Trilby Station, situated near the village of Louth, 125km south west of Bourke, 160km north west of Cobar and 400km north east of Broken Hill, NSW Australia, on the Darling River Run.


Trilby Station offers outback country hospitality and riverside accommodation in the fully renovated Stockman’s Cottages and the new Shearer’s Bunkhouse. Or you may choose to avail yourself of the Powered Caravan Sites and secluded river Campsites dotted among age old river gums on the banks of the Darling River.

Guests can self cater or enjoy a range of delicious Australian country-style meals such as Liz’s farmyard breakfasts, stockman’s lunches (often served on the banks of the river or out in the paddocks where Gary is working) and two or three course dinners served to your accommodation.

Trilby Station, with a total of 13 bedrooms (26 beds) is ideal for groups, small coach groups or as a conference venue with a difference. Liz enjoys providing morning/afternoon teas and/or lunch and a walking tour to large groups looking for a short break in their journey.

Stay two nights in one of our renovated 2 bedroom cottages by the river including dinner and breakfast, and receive a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner one night.
