purple pub.

does anyone where the purple pub is. yes the one in the caravan & motorhome calander this month. my sisterinlaw is made on the colour purple so i sent a pic to her now she wants to know where it is so she can go see it up close. peter.

I don't know if it's the same one in the calendar but the National Hotel in Normanton, up near the Gulf, is also called the Purple Pub and is 'famous' for that reason.

Was in Normanton a few months ago. Meals at the Purple Pub were top stuff.

Situated in Normanton, western Queensland, on the Gulf of Carpenteria. Very famous and a visit to Normanton would not be complete without a beer in this pub

thanks everyone, yes it is the one up normanton, i think i might have to make it up there before my sister-inlaw. looks and sounds like a great place to go for a drink and a meal. thanks again everyone.

I have just spent 4weeks travelling around that region of Qld. If u are heading there make sure u visit Lawn Hill(stay at Adels Grove). The purple pub is a great watering hole.
