Hi guys , bought one of these for the misses and i am a Xmas gift , and just about to give it a run ( now )

had a look through the book and it suggests beef - pork - but no mention of Roasting a whole chicken ? is it no good for chicken and should be left to the other meats ?

thanks

It will do a chook as well as any other piece of meat.

Now, stop being a woose and give it a go:-))

Yum, I can picture it now.

Good Luck Boc and a happy New Year!

Boc,

Here's reference to the Cobb America site.
Click on roast picture and you will have a recipe for a Stuffed Roast Chicken. Takes about 1 1/2 hours.

Sorry mate, the hyperlink wouldn't come up quick enough.

We use a Cobb on every trip for the past 2 or 3 years, have cooked Lamb, Beef, Pork, Chicken, Bread, Cakes etc. Never had any hassles.

One little hint SWMBO tells me to pass on is that with all meat she uses cooking bags, break bag open at the top when meat has 15 to 20 min left to cook. Meat falls off the bone and no mess to clean up after...

Guess its to late for this chook but give a try next time.

Interested in the bags to use for lamb etc.

Instructions on my Glad bags is to spike bag in 4 places.
Do you do this or just open toward the end?

Thanks
