I bought premium unleaded at WA-SA Border Village for 184.9c/L on 01/12/07. I think unleaded was 180.9c/L. LPG was 99.9c/L. Hope this helps.

Crude oil hit $100US a Barrel overnight :((

The fuel price in Woolgoolga has not changed in 2 weeks,
Diesel is $1.469/L
ULP is $1.399/L
LPG is $0.73.9/L

So it make you wonder how much the fuel companies are profiteering in Sydney with them constantly changing fuel prices.

Vince,

I have indicated that I would be attending the gathering but may have to withdraw due to having to be in Calliope by the Tuesday morning and I don't feel like driving close to 1000km in a day ATM :))
I have done enough long trips lately

Cheers Kev

Kevin promised fuel would be cheaper once he was elected! And he has sooled the ACCC onto the fuel companies.

Sorry to add to your concerns, but with the world price for crude passing US$100 today, guess from now on, the 'sky is the limit'. If you have to go (travel), you have to pay. That's the only reality there is - regardless of the price(s). Your (our) choice I guess.

Maybe cheaper to fly.
Dosen't matter what fuel costs, you have to have it, so just pay it, or don't cross the Nullarbor.
Last year we paid $ 1.95 for fuel iin the outback, and if we do the CSR in 2009, we expect to pay over $3.00 ...
Just another extra expence you have to build into your life

Thanks Ole Grizzly, that was precisely the information I was seeking. The 180 litre tank on my Prado allows me to bypass the most expensive fuel stations, but in order to maximise its value I need to know roughly what's ahead. Your information was most helpful.

Nickb, your information also was helpful, thank you.

Kev, I did check the fuel prices on ExploreOz first, but the only Eyre Highway fuel stations listed are Norseman and Ceduna, and none of the eleven fuel stations in between these two.
