OK there is a simple way of doing this right, so can some one point me to the instruction manual please.

when u post a thread down the bottom are little buttons PREVIEW SUBMIT ETC and theres INSERT IMAGE AND INSERT LINK.

Give it a try and use the PREVIEW button to check your success

One thing u do have to do is upload your pics to photobucket or something like that try www.photobucket.com

you should also use a third party to store your photos .. i use Photobucket.com then just upload your photos - it will then give you a direct link to past the address from - it will show all your photos in your album - then 3 options for addresses - just choose DIRECT ADDRESS

then on the post screen below you click on Insert image - then right click ( photobucket auto adds the address to your clip board) Paste - and presto --- your pic should show up like below
