What a great idea, but being an old locomotive man, your problem will be air supply.
You would need a very big air supply tank, but it can be done.
However the DB rating on a loco horn will be very high, and I suspect that you would quickly obtain a defect notice.
W.hen I worked at Kenworth, I had a friend with a three ton Isuzu, we put a Kenworth horn on the cab roof in the normal position, and ran a airline down through the airvalve, to a tank mounted on the chassis rail. He used to pump the tank up from the local service station.
Sure made peopke who had offened him, back off with a quick blast, and it was all legal. Any truck wrecker should be able to help, as I doubt if there is much call for the parts.
