First 4WD in 1974 a 1954 Landrover (tough love).
Lapsed 4WD'er until 1983 - 1972 range Rover (Money Pit)
Ford Maverick (NEW) 1989 (Best 4WD according to my kids)
Toyota 80 in 1999, a 1994 model, first auto (not my favourite 4WD)
Toyota 100, new in 2004, this is my favourite tourer, even with IFS.
Now and again yearn for a very basic 4WD, I look at old Landies and GQ's and then remember the hard work required and how old I'm getting ......
