My brother in law claims that, when passing throughRegans Ford, he gets areal feeling of dread. Is there anything in the history of this place that might be behind it?

hello Mick F3,
I had an uncle who farmed there for many years, he had a few bad seasons, sometimes going through a nice place during extremly bad weather can give you a feeling of dread.

There has been quite a few nasty truck V car accidents with fatalities around the bridge area over the years.

It sounded like a car dealership with a bad past.

About 20 years ago I was crossing Regan’s Ford towing an old, single axle, half ton trailer when one of wheels came off, in the middle of the bridge. Up ahead, parked at an angle at the roadside, was a combi van. The runaway wheel hit the van’s side, smack in the middle – on the 400k distance between
Perth and
Geraldton, the van had to be in the exact spot where the wheel came off – how freaky is that?
