Review: ExplorOz Sandflag Kit

Initially I thought it was a bit expensive but when I arrived I could immediately see the value in this flag pole. It is a very robust 3 piece pole which will store easily in the back of the 4WD or left on the vehicle at only 1.5 metres high. The pole extends from 1.5 metres to 3.5 metres with a simple twist of each section of the pole. At full extension the flag will be extremely visible over the top of sand dunes. I think it would take a very hard knock e.g. on a large tree branch or bridge to cause any damage and there are not too many of either out in the deserts where it will be needed. There is even a tool for tightening the pole onto the mounting so that it will not vibrate loose on corrugations and you get your choice of 3 mounting types when ordering. Everything has been thought of to make this a must have item for desert sand dune crossings.
