template for a snorkel

yep i got the snorkel second hand so no template was supplied i might try safari direct and see what happens,cheers andrew

I did the same secondhand you can make a template easily get some light cardboard you can buy big sheets at the newsagent
1 - cut a hole for the air intake near one end
2 - place the card over the intake so the card covers the base of thesnorkel and tape in place
3 - you will be able to locate the mounting holes and cut holes to suit
4 - draw the out line of the snorkel
5 - to locate it, someone on here will be able the location - distance from top of guard to snorkel and distance back from front of guard etc
That's what i did and all worked fine
Measure twice to make sure and cover the area you are cutting with masking tape to protect the paint from slips and scratches

Thanks Kev thats what i was going to do anyway but just thought i would put the feelers out and see if anyone happened to have a template lying around,should not be too much drama to do it i was just looking for the easy way out thats all, cheers and thanks for the response, Andrew
