Just wanted to pass on to members my appreciation of the terrific service received from Derek and the team at Sidewinder.
Ordered 3 items at around 11AM yesterday and there they were on my door-step this morning. That's Brisbane to Melbourne overnight! Yes, it's normal for Express Post, but it demonstrates that the Sidewinder folks are on the ball with deliveries, as well as having some great prices.
Well done.

I would have to agree with GUJim, top service from their online ordering not like some that give you a delivery date weeks in advance and charge just as much if not more.

Yes, that is very good as some items interstate take much longer, longer in fact than shipping items from USA.
However, to be accurate Sidewinder isn't a delivery system and they only "despatch", with Aust Post doing the "delivery" component.
Shows it works when both ends are doing the job.

Do a lot of shopping on line at the moment, and this is where this new way of purchasing products will make the difference. Businesses that are slack with their deliveries will be overrun by those who see this element of their business as important as the purchase and the receipt of payments.
There was a story around in the relative early days of internet business about an american toy company who promised that if you bought your xmas presents on line they would guarantee delivery by courier before xmas, unfortunately they didn't quite get it right and santa failed to turn up because the necessary delivery system was not in place. Needless to say I don't think that company is still in business.
The only issue with shopping online is that you don't get the opportunity to see, touch and feel the item, however if it is a car part for example and your communication with the online company is good it appears that there is now little risk involved.
