Free camping in Geelong

Hi Win,

Cant help with Geelong but I would suggest that you buy a copy of Camps Australia which is available through the shop on this site. Commonly called camps 7 it lists a very large number of free camps across the counrty, and will very quickly pay for itself.

A word of caution though, free camps are more common away from the major population areas, so you do need to be flexible and be prepared either to move on or to go to a caravan park sometimes. Some free camps can become very busy and crowded and sometimes they are spoiled by an accumulation of rubbish and other nasties.

Hi Wim
There is free camping beside the two BP service stations on the Hi way at Little River. There about 10 minutes on the northern side of Geelong.
