Canning Stock Route, anyone been up or down yet??

Heading over with a small group in early July and I know it's early in the season BUT thought someone may have tackled it already and could give us an update on track conditions.

I know it's a bit of a long shot BUT worth asking

Cheers

Hi Mark,

I read somewhere one group has definitely gone thru the whole way, they did it about a month ago.
There are quite a number of groups including tours companies on the CSR as we speak.

cheers

Phil Brady went down a month back with three VDJ79 series landcruisers.

Here's his post.

I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Should let him know. He'd probably be chuffed to know it's turned up and is now in a good home lol.

He's updating on Expedition Portal fairly regularly.

Cheers Mick

Hi

Was hanging around Georgia Bore to ~ Well 21 last week. Heard a few crew go buy via radio. Some sticky bits south of Well 21/Savory Creek...but only "off track". July will be fine.

Fantastic time to be there (southern section at least) with water left over from Cyclone Rusty a few months ago..

Lake Disappointment has some water on east side.....

Cooling off

and lots of critters...

Have fun

Cheers
