The
Mildura International Balloon Festival is looking for volunteers with 4WDs to help out. This is from the latest Crew News...
"A logistical aspect you may be able to help us with concerns the search for additional 4WD vehicles. If you know of anyone who has a vehicle and may be able to assist with the loan or use of a vehicle (even a ute, small tray truck or trailer) and would also be able to drive, please let me know as soon as possible. Drivers/owners would be compensated for their fuel used during the competitions by the pilots." Contact Sue Hedley on (03) 5024 7189.
The event runs from 23 June to 4 July. I assume the 4WDs are required to retrieve ballons from wherever they land back to the launch site. Should be fun if you can make it.
